School rules

Conduct & Discipline

Discipline is the backbone of every development. This is especially true of an educational institution. Discipline at school is formative, not repressive and helps the student to develop self control, which is the essence of a well-ordered and successful life. Therefore , the school expects of its students to conform to certain regulations aimed at the growth of the entire school, and more so, of the individual student.Parents/Guardians are expected to co-operate with the authorities in enforcing regularity and discipline, and take an active interest and help in the activities of the SCHOOL. All rules and guidelines given here apply not only during the school hours but at any function on or off the School grounds.

  • Every student must carry the school diary with her/him every day.
  • The warning bell before class is a signal for all students to go to their respective class rooms silently.
  • No student is permitted to leave the school premises without the permission granted by the Principal. Such permission can be granted only at the specific written request of the Parents/Guardians
  • Students will not be called to answer phone calls during class hours. To call home, they should use the telephone at the office counter.
  • All letters and correspondence addressed to students are subject to scrutiny by the Principal.
  • Students should be habitually clean and neatly dressed. The school uniform is to be worn on all school days. The boys should have short hair. Girls should tie their hair in plaits and ribbons. They are forbidden to wear any fancy hair clips, nail paint. A student who is slovenly dressed may not be permitted to enter the classroom or may even be sent home.
  • Students are required to show gentleness and courtesy to their companions. Refined behavior should be a distinct feature of every student of this school.

  • Proper care should be taken of the school property and no student should scratch or spoil desks or chairs or damage any school furniture, write or draw anything on the wall or in any way damage things belonging to others.
